No less an authority than the Oxford English Dictionary defines the American dream as “the proper that every citizen of the united states needs to have the same possibility to attain success and prosperity via difficult paintings, determination, and initiative.

The belief of the American Dream at this time existed to immigrants and was intended simply to continue to exist and be able to exist in a rustic that became unfastened. Immigrants came to the USA to experience liberty, although liberty was little greater than cramped quarters and penny wages.

The American dream is the perception that all and sundry, no matter where they have been born or what magnificence they have been born into, can gain their own version of achievement in a society wherein upward mobility is possible for everybody.
