Three political issues in the United States that Americans need to understand are:

 • Climate and the Environment
 • Racial inequality
 • Gun rights control

What are some political issues in the United States?

The world's climate keeps getting warmer and this is having disastrous effects on the climates of certain parts of the world including the United States. For instance, global warming was said to be the cause of the deadly wildfires that swept through California.

There is also the issue of racial inequality which keeps being brought to the fore thanks to police brutality issues that see certain races being heavily profiled as opposed to others. This is why we have had a series of "Black Lives Matter" protests and yet the problem hasn't been solved.

Gun rights control needs to be tackled as well with the increase in gun related crimes and massacres.

The statement regarding African American crime verified in statistics is that the largest amount of homicides that happen in the US are still homicides where African americans kill other african americans.
