The scheme to depict the Heaven inside of a building can be found in early Christian representation, and later periods, but also is a feature associated with Islamic traditions. <em><u>A good example that can illustrate this statement it's St. Peter's Basilica Dome in Rome (a Christian building) and the Dome of Rock in Jerusalem (an Islamic building).</u></em> Both buildings use this structural scheme.
