Nursing theory conveys the knowledge of ideas, practices, qualities that makes a good nurse. This lays the foundational knowledge of the nursing profession. The theory does not relate to a specific specialization in the profession and was first identified by Florence Nightingale.

 

The Nursing theory has four main points which include person, environment, nursing and health. This four branches put together to form the nursing theory.

The concepts involve in this theory is generally abstract in the stage of learning and conveying the ideas to the people that needs it. The ideas conveyed will be acted on to bring its truthfulness.  Acting in this abstract ideas makes it concrete as it is palpable at this point.

Generally, the process of learning the abstract and acting on it communicates meaning. Therefore, The component of a nursing theory that can be either abstract or concrete and is used to communicate meaning is concept.
