It's True that, Alcohol consumption is a major contributor in high percentage of academic problems and college dropouts.

In a study it is concluded that, consumption of alcohol is closely linked with the poor academic performance and many negative mental health issues.

Researchers had also claimed that, lower GPA is also closely liked with binge drinking.

In a 10-week study of college students had found that an estimated 37.4% of college students in the study reported “binge” drinking in the two weeks leading up to their assessment by the researchers.

Binge drinking has been defined as drinking four or more drinks in a three-hour time period. Many students had reported some negative results from their heavy drinking which includes,

Anna71 [15]

The reason why the Cancer Conference (Tumor Board) can share some PHI with other physicians is that it is a not covered entity.

What is a not covered entity?

These are entities that are not subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) rules which include those of privacy.

As a result, they can share PHI with other physicians to get better insight on conditions affecting their patients.
