The key difference between the Earliest works of history, and modern works of History is that D.) The earliest of history also incorporated mythology.

How do the earliest works of history and modern works differ?

The earliest forms of history were known to have incorporated mythology when reporting on factual events which made it difficult to determine which events actually happened. In Homer's The Odyssey, there was a lot of talk about mythical creatures and gods.

Modern works of history on the other hand are meant to be as factual as possible and so do not include mythology in their works so that we can be more certain that those events truly took place.

Irina-Kira [14]

Answer:

Option: C) European countries such as Spain and Portugal brought slaves to their colonies in Latin America to work on plantations.

Explanation:

After founding the route to reach Africa via sea under Prince Henry the Navigator, the Portuguese first started to capture African people from the west coast of Africa and enslaved to Europe. After the European discovery of America, the demand for African labor continuously grew. For the first time, Spanish took African captives to America from Europe during 1503, and by 1518 slaves were shipped directly from Africa which led to the beginning of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade.
