How was Oregon annexed

The Oregon Country was distributed land between the US and Britain. The boundary dispute was settled by the Oregon Treaty which stated that Britain gained possession of the land north of the 49th parallel, and we gained Oregon. So, Oregon was annexed into the United States by the Oregon Treaty.
