Which of the following is a trait of American romanticism? a. glorifying industrialization and modernization b. exploring the im
blsea [12.9K]

The correct answer is B. exploring the imagination and emotions of the individual.

C also can be correct, but if you need to choose just one answer, then I'd rather go with B. Romanticism in general is all about emotions, and the imagination that both the authors and the characters portray in their lives. A is all about Modernism, rather than Romanticism. D and E are all about Enlightenment and Classicism, rather than Romanticism.

Assessment 2: Think of Me
salantis [7]

Based on the question given, a paragraph about how I faced my greatest challenge is explained below:

The greatest challenge I have had till now was my challenge with Mathematics. While growing up, I was bad with Mathematics, I disliked anything that had to do with calculations. There was a particular day in school that our examination scripts were given back to us. I realized that I had the lowest score in Mathematics. I was sad and I told myself that I was going to work harder. I have improved tremendously now and I'm happy I tackled my challenge.

What is ironic about what happens to Hauchecorne in "The Piece of String"?
Leno4ka [110]
Answer: C. His reputation for clever dealing betrays him when he tells the truth.

The statement in letter c shows irony because it presents contrasting events. Mr. Hauchecorne is a clever person  however the irony strikes on him when nobody believes him and makes fun of his cleverness when he said the truth about the string.
