A single language and a single currency would be an advantage to a trader because they would be able to explain what they want better and to buy and sell products with ease.

What is the benefit of a single currency and language to trade?

Traders need to talk to their customers to be able to sell goods and services. They need to be able to convince them to pick a good for purchase. Traders also need to be able to communicate what they want to buy. For these reasons, a single language would help the trade to communicate their thoughts easily.

Traders will also need to be paid for their goods or will need to pay for the things they buy. As a result, a single currency would be beneficial because the trader would not have to be worried of how to exchange their currency to the one that they need, they can just buy goods or sell goods.
