According to the map, it can be inferred that the bias is the size of North America, which seems almost as big as Asia despite the fact that Asia is much larger (option D).

What is seen on the map?

The map shows a world map of the Earth showing the continents with political divisions of the countries. This map has the Mercator model, in which the real shapes of the countries are distorted.

What distortion is there in this map and why can it be considered bias?

Generally, in the maps with the Mercator model, the countries of the northern hemisphere have a larger size compared to the countries of the southern hemisphere. According to several psychologists and sociologists, this erroneous projection has effects on people's thinking because they consider that the countries of the northern hemisphere are more important and that is why they are the world powers.

On the other hand, we can see that North America is very large compared to Asia, it is almost the same size. However, in reality the surface of these two continents is very different because Asia is much larger.

Discuss the issue of the sea level that is rising due to the increase of polar ice melting ( incorporate various populations of
chubhunter [2.5K]

Answer:

As discussed below.

Explanation:

 • The melting of the sea ice and rise in global temperature are having a profound impact on the distribution of land and water ration of the earth as much of the land is concentrated in the northern hemispheres and the rest of the areas are oceanic waters.
 • The presence of warm global temperature in the seas and continue expansion of the bottoms are thus spading this effect as a rise in 1 to 3 degrees caused a severe rise in the oceanic basins and this cause more salinity in the rivers and an increase in the global cooling staking over the oceans.
 • The population of freshwater and marine water is badly affected many species of corals have already died and a catastrophic bleaching has occurred on the western coast of Australia. Thus it poses a severe threat to the marine biology and ecology of the pant is due impacted by this.
 • More and more species are getting extinct and habits are getting lost and the planet is getting more heated and drastic release of temperature is causing more in tectonic movement in the polar areas.

15) What is an "episodic" plot structure?
11111nata11111 [884]

Answer:

Episodic plot structure is the form of story where the main plot of it is depicted through many sub- plots, or chapter- wise depictions of the story.

Explanation:

In "episodic" plot structure, the characters are the same, recurring in all scenes, along with the themes and settings. But what is different in this structure is the way the story is represented or told. Every episode will have a complete story, a beginning and an ending, without the need for the readers or viewers to refer back to the previous scenes. Every act s independent, but still is connected with the main plot of the story. Every scene/ episode has its own plot, but also shows the overall theme/ plot of the story in it's own way through all the episodes. The standalone character of the story or chapter is what's characterizes "episodic" plot structures. Examples of such plot structure will include most of the common stories or television series of today's times like "Criminal Minds", "Modern Family", "The Big Bang Theory", The series of "Agatha Christie" stories etc.
