Yes, Mxolisi is a product of his own environment, as Mandisa is accurate in saying and he is not responsible for his own actions.

  • He is not accountable for his own conduct because one's behaviour is influenced by their surroundings and the people they associate with. One's behaviour and style of thinking are directly influenced by how they were raised and the circumstances of their existence.
  • The environment and circumstances in which one lives or grows up have a direct impact on one's outlook on life. In the scenario that is being presented, Mxolisi's perception and cognitive process are likewise a product of the environment and surroundings, which have gradually ingested into his head and formed a part of his personality.
  • Mxolisi was an outcome of his surroundings. Mxolisi was an important member of his community before becoming a pariah. He was essentially just doing what he had been taught to do since birth: "Did he not do as they yelled for everyone to hear? ONE BULLET, ONE SETTLER! (138).
  • Mandisa likens her son to a trained dog that will defend its family in battle. "It is the dog that takes the risk, that could get hurt," says the culture that gave rise to this terrible animal. or slain. jailed or (138). Was Mxolisi expected to comply and "run for the target and seize it by the horns" when he heard the widespread cry, "WITH OUR MATCH BOXES, WE SHALL FREE OURSELVES".

In "The(Untrue) Story of John Smith and Pocahontas," how is the authors point of veiw different from the point of veiw someone w
Katyanochek1 [597]

Depending on the story of Pocahontas that we are talking about, like as an example the movie, the point of view would be very different. When you are reading a adaptation of the original true story, there may be a couple differences including you may have a omniscient point of view. In a non-fiction version of the story it would most likely be just from the point of view from one of the characters that existed or just facts about what happened.
