Answer:

 1. Supplementary
 2. Adjacent
 3. Linear pair

Step-by-step explanation:
1. Supplementary - angles whose sum is 180 degrees.

In that case, a+b form a straight angle (180 degrees).

2. Adjacent - angles with a common vertex AND a common side.

3. Linear pair - angles that form a straight angle (180 degrees).

The difference between supplementary angles and linear pair:

1. Linear pair angles MUST be adjacent.

2. Supplementary angles NEED NOT to be adjacent.

Sam bought a car valued at $7700. One year later the car’s value had decreased by 2/7. What is the new value of the car?
taurus [48]

Answer:

$5500 is the new value of the car.

Step-by-step explanation:

actual value of car=$7700

fraction of value decreased=2/7

so, amount of car's value decreased=

$(2/7)*7700.

=$2*(7700/7)

=$2*1100

=$2200

so, new value of car=$(7700-2200) =$5500

Which type(s) of equation can have infinite solutions?
Anestetic [448]

Equations with Infinite Solutions :

The systems of solving equations are methods to solve two or more linear equations in two or more variables. We generally solve systems of equations in two or three variable. To solve systems of equation in two or three variables, we need to determine first whether the equation is consistent, inconsistent, independent, or dependent. A pair of linear equations, which has a unique or infinite solutions are said to be a consistent pair of linear equations.

For a weekly car rental, a car rental company charges customers a flat fee of $100 plus
zlopas [31]

The way you typed out this sentence was a bit confusing but I think you were saying...

For a weekly car rental, a car rental company charges customers a flat fee of $100 + and charges 10 cents for every mile traveled. write an equation for the amount of a weekly rental car that travels 15 miles (Please let me know if I am wrong)

The equation would be

10+10 +10+ 10+ 10+ 10+ 10+ 10+ 10+ 10+ 10+ 10+ 10+ 10+ 10 = 150 cents

so they would be charging $1.50

Hoped this helped!

Have a great day/night! :)
