In millions of British pounds, how much did Germany and Austria-Hungary spend in 1890? In 1914?

The spending of these two countries in 1890 was about some 40 million pounds. But in 1914 there spending was an enormous 150 million pounds. That's almost 4 times more. This can bee seen as natural as at the time the countries were about to get involved in the World War I and they had to spend money, mostly on military.
