What are the means of Ten Little Indians?

The “Ten Little Indians” rhyme publications the development of the novel. The singsong, childish verses tell the story of the deaths of ten Indian boys and stop with the road that offers the unconventional its identity: “and then there were none.” A framed copy of the rhyme hangs in every bedroom, and ten small Indian figures sit down on the eating-room table.

The murders are executed to healthy, as carefully as viable, the lines inside the poem, and after each homicide, one of the figures vanishes from the dining room. The standard impact is one of just about supernatural inevitability; ultimately, all the characters recognize that the subsequent homicide will shape the next verse, but they're unable to break out of their fates. The poem impacts Vera Claythorne more powerfully than it influences everyone else. She will become passionate about it, and while she ultimately kills herself she is operating below the suggestive strength of the poem’s final verse.

Ten Little Indians is a nursery rhyme referenced inside the 1939 Agatha Christie novel And Then There Were None. One choked his little self after which there had been nine.

Answer:

A

Explanation:

In 1854, Sen. Stephen Douglas forced the Kansas-Nebraska Act through Congress. The bill, which repealed the Missouri Compromise of 1820, also opened up a good portion of the Midwest to the possible expansion of slavery.

Douglas' political rival, former Illinois Congressman Abraham Lincoln, was enraged by the bill. He scheduled three public speeches in the fall of 1854, in response. The longest of those speeches — known as the Peoria Speech — took three hours to deliver. In it, Lincoln aired his grievances over Douglas' bill and outlined his moral, economic, political and legal arguments against slavery.

But like many Americans, Lincoln was unsure what to do once slavery ended.

"Lincoln said during the Civil War that he had always seen slavery as unjust. He said he couldn't remember when he didn't think that way — and there's no reason to doubt the accuracy or sincerity of that statement," explains historian Eric Foner. "The problem arises with the next question: What do you do with slavery, given that it's unjust? Lincoln took a very long time to try to figure out exactly what steps ought to be taken."
