I think I wouldn't have been attracted because I probably would already have had my business settled and been making my profits. Whereas if I had gone to the west then I would have had to start over. I think the majority of people who went to the west were people who were money seekers and who were looking to better their lives.
It seems like a European man trying to take over many countries. The hands signalize routes they are taking. The words further explain what they are trying to aim for with imperialism.
I believe that the United States had no imperialistic motives for entering WWII. Because Great Britain, Russia, and Germany all used to be empires at some point in their history, and they might have wanted to become empires again, whereas America had no such wishes.
