Answer: AAS, which is choice B

======================================================

Reason:

We have two congruent angle pairs

The 30 degree angles

The 70 degree angles

We also have a pair of congruent sides. These sides are not between the angles mentioned, so we don't use ASA. Instead we go for AAS. The order is important. Both congruence theorems are similar however.

Technically if you wanted, you could find the missing third angle of each triangle, which would allow you to use ASA instead of AAS. But we'll assume that we can only use the immediate information given without further computations/algebra.

Side notes:

  • The reason why I know it's AAS instead of ASA is because I've seen this trick question many times before.
  • The missing angle is 180-(30+70) = 180-100 = 80 degrees
  • We can't use SSS because we don't have info about all three sides. The SAS rule is a similar story.

AAS is your answer because you have 30 and 70 degrees next to each other and they are both angels and then 10 which is a side
You would use AAS because that’s the pattern or your triangle

This distance time graph represents a journey made by Sue.
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

stationary time is 2 hours 30 minutes

Traveling time is 3 hours 30 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

There are two distinct line types on the graph

the horizontal ones and the ones going towards the upper part

The horizontal ones represent the stationary positions while the climbing one represent the traveling time

The horizontal ones are;

3 to 3:30

4-5

6:30 to 7:30

Time here is ;

30

minutes + 1 hour + 1 hour = 2 hours 30 minutes

The traveling time;

2 - 3

3:30 to 4

5 to 6:30

7:30 to 8

1 + 30 min + 1hr 30 + 30

= 3 hours 30 minutes

???? Help me please
Mama L [17]

Answer:

24.5672 cm² (answer rounded up to four decimal places)

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of the shaded region = The area of the circle with a diameter of 6.4 cm - the area of the two circles with diameters of 2.2 cm each

The area of the circle with a 6.4 cm diameter is:

Area(A) = π × r²

The radius here is \frac{6.4 cm}{2} = 3.2 cm

A = π × 3.2² = 32.1699087728  cm² or 32.1699 cm² (rounded up to four decimal places)

The area of the the circles with diameters of 2.2 cm each is:

Area(A) = π × r²

But because the circles are two, the area will be;

A = 2 × π × R²

The radius here is 2.2 cm ÷ 2 = 1.1 cm

A = 2 × π × 1.1² = 7.60265422169  cm² or 7.6027 cm² (rounded up to four decimal places)

The area of the shaded region = 32.1699 cm² - 7.6027 cm² = 24.5672 cm²

Suppose that you decide to buy a car for 27,635, including taxes and license fees. You saved 5000 for a down payment and can get
Lina20 [59]

Answer:

Monthly payment= $550.25

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we need to calculate the value of the loan:

Loan= 27,635 - 5,000

Loan= $22,635

Now, the monthly payment:

Interest rate (i)= 0.0778/12= 0.006483

n= 4*12= 48 months

Loan (PV)= $22,635

We need to use the following formula:

Monthly payment= (PV*i) / [1 - (1+i)^(-n)]

Monthly payment= (22,635*0.007483) / [1 - (1.006483^-48)]

Monthly payment= $550.25

Is-5 a solution to the equation 6x+5=5x+8+2 x? Explain. please help asap

astraxan [27]

Answer:

6x+5=5x+8+2x

x= -3

Step-by-step explanation:

use like terms so add 5x+2x=7x

6x+5=7x+8

subtract 5 from both sides

6x+5-5=7x+8-5

simplify

-x = 3

divide both sides by -1

-x/-1  =  3/-1

x= -3

so no -5 is not a solution

The Venn diagram represents the results of a survey that asked participants whether they would want a dog or a cat as a pet. Ent
yanalaym [24]

The complete table is

                Dog         Not Dog         Total

Cat            31              10                     41

Not cat     24              7                       31

Total         55              17                      72

Given a venn diagram represents the results of a survey that asked participants whether they would want a dog or a cat as a pet as shown in figure which is attached below.

In the figure cat and dog are overlapping which means 31 people like both.

The people that like only dog but not cat are 24 and the people that like only car but not dog is 10.

The people that like not cat not dog is 31-24=7.

The total people that like cats are 31+10=41 and the total people that dont like cat is 24+7=31

The total people that like dogs are 31+24=55 and the people that didn't like dogs are 31+10-24=17 and the total people that like both dog and not dog and also like cat and not cat is 55+17=41+31=72.

Hence, the complete table is shown in attached figure for the given venn diagram.
