To destroy completely mean modify.

What word means to modify or change?

Some common synonyms of change are altered, change, and vary. While all these terms mean "to make or become different," modify suggests a distinction that limits, restricts, or adapts to a new purpose.

Modification, therefore, involves a non-trivial processing of information rather than a trivial exercise or translation of one source of information.

What is the meaning of modify my order?

A difference in a court order is called a modification. Either parent can invite that the Child Support Services Department review his or her child support case for modification.

Generally, a conversion must be based upon a "substantial change of circumstances" since the last charge was made by the court.

Brut [27]
My parents were pretty angry with me because I had taken the driving permit test twice and failed it, wasting their money and time (the DMV was only open during the most inconvenient times and the lines were horrendous). I broke down crying because I had studied the entire test booklet front to back and still hadn't been able to pass. I felt like an idiot. Both times I had only missed the requirement by a few points. On the third time, I passed. I think it was because I went by myself, and didn't have anyone waiting on me and making me feel rushed. The photo that was used for my permit may have been the worst official picture of me ever taken, if you don't count my current license photo.

What is the author communicating beyond the literal meaning of words on page 39 plz answer giving brainly
Lena [83]

Answer:

This is expressing the material wealth and excess of the 1920s.

Explanation:

At the time after the war, stock markets were high and people began to experience more national wealth and extravagance, a huge difference when compared to the previous years, which encompassed WWI. This shows how things were so extravagant on the outside, but it almost foreshadows the period of depression and excessively impoverished time to come in the following years.

I hope this helps! Have a nice day :)
