Neutrophils engulf bacteria by surrounding them as well as drawing them into the cell by means of phagocytosis.

Phagocytosis is a process through which definite live cells known as phagocytes engulf other cells or bacteria.

In lower life forms phagocytosis is chiefly associated with nutrition, whereas, in higher life forms this process is related to an organism's defense mechanism in response to an infection.

Neutrophils are a kind of white blood cells or leukocytes. They act as a first line of defense that prevent the body from an infection. Neutrophils are produced in the bone marrow and flow in the blood throughout the body.

Answer:

Explanation:

2-deoxyglucose poison has its effects during glycolysis, which only produces 2 ATP, while Cyanide takes place during ETC which produces 34. If given the 2-deoxyglucose poison this would stunt the rest of the process very early on, so much so that no ATP could have been produced. So the ATP concentration would have decreased if given the other poison.
