The details from Mann's description of pre-Columbian Native America include:

 • They had a high population.
 • Their society wasn't organized.

How to illustrate the information?

It should be mentioned that Mann published a piece that provided examples of the Americans prior to Columbus. Prehistoric communities that flourished south of the present-day United States border are known as pre-Columbian cultures. These people were alive before Columbus arrived. The three most illustrious Pre-Columbian civilizations were Aztec, Maya, and Inca.

However, this was different from what he subsequently saw and witnessed. It was claimed that the myth was that they were sparsely populated. Around 30,000 years ago, the Paleo-Indians—the progenitors of Native Americans—flew into Alaska after herds of animals from Siberia. Asia and North America are joined by the Beringia land bridge. By 8,000 BCE, these individuals had colonized all of North and South America.

Also, it should be noted that their society wasn't organized. This was different from the idea that they had about it being organized.

The paragraph of the excerpt in which the tension surrounding Mrs. Wessington's presence begin is in the third paragraph. (Option A). This question is about "The Phantom Rickshaw"

What is the theme of The Phantom Rickshaw?

The theme of the above story is one that speaks to Betrayal.

The narrator, Jack, had an affair with Mrs. Agnes Keith-Wessington at Simla, but later dumped her and got engaged to Miss Kitty Mannering.

Mrs. Wessington, however, keeps popping up in Jack's life, pleading with him to change his mind and saying that everything was an error.

But Jack continues to shun her and doesn't want anything to do with her. Mrs. Wessington eventually passes away, much to Jack's relief.

But later on, he notices her old rickshaw and believes it has been purchased.

The rickshaw and the men hauling it suddenly pass through a horse, shocking him by exposing themselves to be ghosts carrying Mrs. Wessington's deceased spirit.

This causes Jack to become more unpredictable, which he attempts to hide by making up increasingly complex stories to allay Kitty's concerns.
