The fundamental component of creativity for both scientists and artists is Intrinsic Motivation.
What is Intrinsic motivation?
Intrinsic motivation is described as doing something for the sake of doing it rather than for any other reason.
When a person is intrinsically driven, he or she is moved to perform because of the enjoyment or challenge involved, rather than because of external products, demands, or incentives.
Young newborns exhibit intrinsic desire by constantly attempting to grip, toss, bite, crush, or yell at new items they discover.
Even if it becomes less significant as they grow older, human adults are often genuinely driven while doing crossword puzzles, painting, gardening, or just reading novels or watching movies.
To obtain a better idea of intrinsic motivation, consider how it has been characterized in comparison to extrinsic motivation
