The structures that were used for religious and social activities, and as houses for chieftains and burial sites were Mounds.

What structure was used for chieftains and burial sites?

The Native American cultures that were found in the Mississippi area would use mounds for religious festivals where they would offer worship to their gods. They also used mounds for social activities and events.

It is also intriguing to note that these mounds would also be burial sites which meant that the Native Americans here wanted to feel closer to their dead ancestors. This was also the structure that chieftains used for their houses.

On September 2, 1945, following the surrender of Japan and the end of World War II, General Douglas MacArthur
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Answer:

I think Mac was talking about if they would treat the Japanese well, then they will not be looking for revenge. After World War 1, they treated the Germans really bad in the peace deal and France had ruthless occupation in the Rhineland of Germany. That why the NAZI party took power, people today wonder how can such people vote Hitler in and this is why. If they would treat the Japanese like how they treated the Germans after World War 1 , there would be no peace between the Japaneses and the Americans. America fought world war 2 not to bring japan horrific occupation but a occupation with justice.

Explanation:

The U.S had some Reconstruction plans that would save japan from a new dictatorship. Many people wanted japan to fall and have a ruthless occupation as revenge. What I mean by "ruthless" is take the wealth away from japan and as much of the land resources as possible for revenge. Mac Arthur knew this would not only cause unrest but revenge.

Only a small proportion of the organisms that live in the geologic past have been preserved as fossils which condition Best incr
yaroslaw [1]

It varies depending on the environment where it fossils and the type of organism:

1-Conservation of organs without modification or with discrete modifications (recrystallization). Is the usual case of hard parts (shells, bones, teeth, calcareous algae ...), and exceptionally soft parts in very particular conditions: ahem. mammoths conserved in icy soils of siberia or in hydrocarbons (ozokerites) north of the Carpathians, insects included in fossil resins (baltic amber).

2-Conservation of organs after their replacement by a different subject preserbando its structure with more or less detail. (It is a process called metasomatism) ahem. silicification of trunks of trees, vertebrate bones or the pyritization of ammonites.

3-Conservation in the form of mold of the organism, internal or external to it. It is often the case of ammonites, shells or conches.

The fossilization process is said to start at 100ºC and pressures above 1Kb (kilobar). Conyeva an exchange of atoms, between the original organism and the matter that surrounds it. They are called fossiligenetic processes. Some of the processes are: carbonation, silicification, phosphatization, pyritization, dissolution.
