What might Uncle Tom’s Cabin be considered propaganda?

The reason is because Uncle Tom's Cabin was said to have been reviled in the South as an abolitionist propaganda, but sales in that region were said to be a lot stronger.

Therefore, Simon Legree was known to be a harsh and wicked slave dealer found in an anti-slavery novel that is said to be written by Harriet Beecher Stowe.

Name two ways the federal government tried to regulate in the late 1800s
s2008m [1.1K]

Hello, and goodnight. The two acts that the Federal Government of 1800 tried to enforce for regulating business were The Sherman Act and the Interstate Commerce Act. Another is The Sherman Act was made to control irregular pricing of a product by a company. It simply tried to stop the monopoly nature of business. The interstate Commerce Act, on the other hand, tried to stop the railways from price discrimination. The railways often charged more for smaller products traveling for a shorter distance. This discrimination was controlled by this act.

What 2 colonial powers were involved in the history of South Africa?
77julia77 [94]

The two European countries who occupied the land were the Netherlands (1652-1795 and 1803-1806) and Great Britain (1795-1803 and 1806-1961). Although South Africa became a Union with its own white people government in 1910, the country was still regarded as a colony of Britain till 1961

Have you ever been unhappy with a situation or felt that you were being treated unfairly? Write a letter to someone that explain
Basile [38]

Dear Johnny, I didn't appreciate it when you pushed me down in the hallway at school. Especially when you starting kicking me in my ribcage (pretty sure you cracked a few) I also hated the incredible humiliation I went through as you kicked me without ceasing. I know your mad at me for telling the teachers that you cheated on my homework, but I had to do it. I mean either I was going to take the blame or it was gonna be you. And we both know I can't get into Harvard with a criminal record. I guess I'm just trying to say that I'm sorry. Not for ratting you out though, I'm sorry that you have become this type of person, this bully if you will. You''ll never get anywhere by beating me up every chance you get.

Your old friend, Matt.
