The comparison of 10 Commandments for Judaism and Christianity to the 5 Pillars of Faith of Islam is that they tend to be  similar in the sense that:

The commandments were known to be written through the the voice of God and are seen to have been directly gotten from God, and the Five Pillars of Islam are shown as human interpretation of how to carry out the desires of God.

In  regards to purpose, the two commandment do  sets some  rules that tend to fill the same role.

<h3>What are the Differences?</h3>

Despite all the similarities between the Pillars of Islam and the Ten Commandments, there are ways that they differ.

The differences is one that is seen in the finer details that are known to be expressed by the Pillars and Commandments and this is with regard to the  different religious views.
