Informational text contains facts about a topic, which is the first option.
Such text is used in magazines, articles and such writings which aim to inform the reader about a particular topic. Unlike the other writings, informational text does not use characters to bring out the meaning of a piece of work. It is considered as a subset of a larger group of notification. Informative texts may include descriptions and reports which aim to gather information about a specific aim in mind. It brings out the knowledge about certain facts and events, which might be useful to catch the limelight in magazines and /or social media. There are five types of informational text viz. description, problem-solution, time, comparison and cause versus effect.
