'The Nest' is a story that was written by Paul Jennings and it is one that shows a powerful and vital themes via the use of clever narrative as well as the use of literary techniques.

Note that the  central or key themes in the novel is one that tells about the overcoming of  fear and knowing more about the truth/.

The above  themes are passed across through the the use of a first person narration and that is by the protagonist Robin.

He was one who need to overcome the fear of the darkness that is inside of him and get to know the truth in regards to his his mother’s whereabouts.
