Option (a) is correct. It is true that more you exercise, higher the rate of your resting heart will be.

What impact does exercise have on the heart?

Exercise improves the efficiency of the cardiac muscle. Your muscles assist in circulating blood throughout the body when you exercise, relieving some of the tension and work from the heart.

Over time, the heart gets stronger and the effort required to pump blood decreases.

As you start to exercise, your heart will beat more quickly and your circulation will rise, which will speed up the delivery of oxygen-rich blood to your muscles.

The heart will strive to meet the demand by increasing both the heart rate and the force with which it contracts as the need for blood rises.

Your heart will beat more frequently and contract more forcefully with each beat, allowing it to circulate more blood throughout the body and increasing oxygen supply.

You have a lot of control over it. You can choose to be active, you choose what types of foods you eat. You can also control if you smoke, or drink. You basically have around 80%-90% of control. If you do the right things I think It will lessen your chances of having the disease.

Environmental Health and Safety
DIA [1.3K]

Answer:

In order to tackle the environmental damage done by the individual, I will be focused on limiting my daily waste, specifically plastic waste. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, so I will refrain from using plastic bags, utensils, packaging, and useless items I know will end up in landfills. To mitigate the noxious emissions released from vehicles, I will attempt to limit my use of my car and increase my public transit usage or carpool. Since 50% of the carbon footprint comes from transportation this will help. I will not pour chemicals or waste into the ocean or any indirect pathways to the ocean/water supply. I will not use aerosols or burn toxic substances.

All of these strategies are on a personal level, and while that is effective and necessary, we need to implement actual policy change to protect and preserve the environment.
