The slope intercept form of the equation of line will be;

The equation of line passes through the points (0, -1) and (0.5, 0) is,

⇒ y = 2x - 1

And, The equation of line passes through the points (0, -4) and (5, 0).

⇒ y = 0.8x - 4

What is Equation of line?

The equation of line in point-slope form passing through the points

(x₁ , y₁) and (x₂, y₂) with slope m is defined as;

⇒ y - y₁ = m (x - x₁)

Where, m = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

Given that;

Two points on the line are (0, -1) and (0.5, 0).

And, Another coordinate plane, a line goes through (0,- 4) and (5, 0).

Now,

Since, The equation of line passes through the points (0, -1) and (0.5, 0).

So, We need to find the slope of the line.

Hence, Slope of the line is,

m = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

m = (0 - (-1)) / (0.5 - 0)

m = 1 / 0.5

m = 2

Thus, The equation of line with slope 2 is,

⇒ y - (-1) = 2 (x - 0)

⇒ y + 1 = 2x

⇒ y = 2x - 1

And,

Since, The equation of line passes through the points (0, -4) and (5, 0).

So, We need to find the slope of the line.

Hence, Slope of the line is,

m = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

m = (0 - (-4)) / (5 - 0)

m = 4 / 5

m = 0.8

Thus, The equation of line with slope 0.8 is,

⇒ y - (-4) = 0.8 (x - 0)

⇒ y + 4 = 0.8x

⇒ y = 0.8x - 4

Thus, The slope intercept form of the equation of line will be;

The equation of line passes through the points (0, -1) and (0.5, 0) is,

⇒ y = 2x - 1

And, The equation of line passes through the points (0, -4) and (5, 0).

⇒ y = 0.8x - 4

Anna [14]

Answer:

The volume of the swimming pool is approximately 2475 yd³ to the nearest whole number

Step-by-step explanation:

The given information are;

The width of the swimming pool = 75 ft. 1 in.

The length of swimming pool = 60 ft.

The depth of the swimming pool = 14 ft. 10 in.

Therefore;

The volume of the swimming pool = Width × Length × Depth

The volume of the swimming pool = 75 ft. 1 in. × 60 ft. × 14 ft. 10 in.

The volume of the swimming pool = 901 in. × 720 in. × 178 in. = 115472160 in.³

1 in.³ = 2.14335 × 10⁻⁵ yd³

∴ 115472160 in.³ = 115472160 in.³ × 2.14335 × 10⁻⁵ yd³/in³ ≈ 2474.969 yd³

Which gives;

The volume of the swimming pool ≈ 2475 yd³ to the nearest whole number.

What is the expected frequency of east campus and passed?
ser-zykov [4K]

The expected frequency of east campus and passed is C. 42 students

How to calculate the value?

The table for expected frequency is ,

East Campus West Campus Total

Passed (84*100)/22=42 (84*100)/200 =42 84

Failed (116*100)/200=58 (116*100)/22=58 116

Total 100 100 200

Passed = 84×100/200

= 42

Therefore, the expected frequency of East Campus and Passed is 42 students.

What is the volume of a square pyramids
frozen [14]

Answer:

\large\boxed{V=75\ in^3}

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula ogf a volume of a pyramid:

V=\dfrac{1}{3}BH

B - area of a base

H - height

We have a base length a = 5 in and a height H = 9 in.

In the base we have a square. The formula of an area of a square is:

B=a^2

Substitute:

B=5^2=25\ in^2

Calculate the volume:

V=\dfrac{1}{3}(25)(9)=(25)(3)=75\ in^3
