The 1790s political parties arose as a result of disagreements over three major issues: the nature of government, the economy, and foreign policy.

Understanding these disagreements allows us to begin to understand the conditions that allowed the two-party system to emerge in the United States.

What was the two-party system?

Political parties, according to George Washington, would be harmful to American society and should be avoided. However, the arguments of two distinct political groups dominated the politics of the 1790s (as they do today in the United States): the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists.

The nature of government and the economy, as well as the federalist and anti-federalist divisions, arose as a result of profound disagreements over foreign policy.

The Federalist Party had all but vanished by 1800, when Thomas Jefferson's anti-Federalist party, the Democratic Republicans, defeated his old friend John Adams and the Federalists for the presidency.

However, the origins of the two-party system in the United States today can be traced back to this difficult decade, which was marked by mistrust, the rise of factional newspapers, and profound debates about the country's future.

Description of mummification
devlian [24]
Mummificatiom was the process into how a pharaoh was buried for death. They took out his organs and put then into some sort of vases which they then buried with him and his treasures or wealth so he can use them in the "afterlife". They placed him in a sarcophagus all wrapped in a fabric, not sure if it was linen though.

But if you want a more descriptive description then go to Google, those were just in my own words and what I remeber.

Why did the United States join the United Nations?
Marrrta [24]

The impetus to establish the United Nations stemmed in large part from the inability of its predecessor, the League of Nations, to prevent the outbreak of the Second World War.  Despite Germany’s occupation of a number of European states, and the League’s failure to stop other serious international transgressions in the 1930s, such as Japan’s invasion of Manchuria, many international leaders remained committed to the League’s ideals.  Once World War II began, President Franklin D. Roosevelt determined that U.S. leadership was essential for the creation of another international organization aimed at preserving peace, and his administration engaged in international diplomacy in pursuit of that goal.  He also worked to build domestic support for the concept of the United Nations.  After Roosevelt’s death, President Harry S Truman also assumed the important task of maintaining support for the United Nations and worked through complicated international problems, particularly with the Soviet Union, to make the founding of the new organization possible.  After nearly four years of planning, the international community finally established the United Nations in the spring of 1945.
