The potential benefit I see when a supervisor combines multiple roles such as a teacher, mentor, counselor, consultant, evaluator, and supervisor is that they get to mold the young generation in all aspects as they understand them best.

Supervisors have a role to mentor the young generation to better people in society.

When they take up multiple roles they can be able to perform best in their work.

A teacher can impart knowledge to students both in the educational and social aspects.

As mentors supervisors are supposed to be people of upright morals so that the learners can emulate them.

When they take up the role of counselors because they understand learners better since they interact more with learners.

As consultants, since they teach learners and also interact with them they are the best people that learners can ask questions.

As evaluators, they can assess the extent to which the learners have understood what they are taught.

And as supervisors, they can in overall observe what the learners learn.
