Iva Toguri D'Aquino, who rose to fame as the legendary Tokyo Rose, was the seventh person in American history to be found guilty of treason.

Following the Japanese capitulation in September 1945, American troops started looking for Japanese military officials and other potential war criminals. The press followed or preceded the troops to the site depending on the situation.

Henry Brundidge and Clark Lee, two of these reporters, went in search of "Tokyo Rose," the infamous siren who attempted to demoralize American soldiers and sailors by emphasizing their hardships and sacrifices during the war.

The two reporters quickly located one young American woman, Iva Ikuko Toguri D'Aquino, who had made such broadcasts through their research and contacts.
