<h3>What were the early river valley civilizations?</h3>

For over 5000 years ago, the first (ancient) civilizations appeared along these banks of large rivers which includes the Tigris, the Euphrates, the River Nile, the Indus River, the Huang her river and the Yellow rivers in China.

All as mentioned above are all called the river civilizations and shared some characteristics such as having similar distances from the equator and climates. Also, they all arose around steady water sources and many of these rivers provided the land around them with fertile topsoil called 'silt' on which to grow crops.
