The first step a nursing assistant needs to perform before giving a back massage is explaining the procedure and position to the patient.

A back massage is a method that has been proven to be effective in providing cutaneous stimulation and comfort to the back.

Typically, a back massage is done while the client is getting bathed. It may also be done on other times if a client appears to be at risk of getting skin rashes from staying in bed. This method is intended to improve relaxation, lessen muscle tension, and boost circulation.

A client should have renewed energy and relaxation following a back massage, as shown by vocal or nonverbal cues and increased blood flow to the back muscles and skin should be visible as a shift in skin tone and warmth.

What is intrauterine device ?

A small, frequently T-shaped birth control device called an intrauterine device (IUD), sometimes known as an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD or ICD), or coil, is put into the uterus to prevent pregnancy. IUDs are one type of reversible long-acting birth control (LARC). According to one study, women who provide family planning services more frequently (41.7%) than the general public (12.1%) choose LARC methods. IUDs and other contraceptive implants are the birth control devices that give users the most satisfaction.

Both teenagers and individuals who have never had children can safely and effectively use IUDs. Even after prolonged use, fertility quickly returns to normal after an IUD is removed.

Anna is at a phase of attachment where she takes the feelings of others into consideration before acting. According to John Bowl
GalinKa [24]

Answer: 24 months

Explanation:

According to John Bowlby's Attachment Theory, infants go through 4 stages of attachment which are the Pre-attachment phase, Attachment-in-making phase, Clear-cut attachment phase, and Formations of reciprocal relationships phase.

Anna is in the Formations of reciprocal relationships phase which kicks in at around 24 months. At this stage, infants begin to take into account the feelings of others before acting. They are able to understand what refusal means and so can try to hide things they think are wrong so as not to get into trouble.
