The word having a connotative meaning similar to the word "anguish" in Passage 1 is "bereavement". Both the words "anguish" and "bereavement" means loss or deprivation of something or someone.

The answer to the given question belongs to The Bixby letter which was a brief, consoling message sent by President Abraham Lincoln in November 1864 to Lydia Parker Bixby, a widow who lived in Boston, Massachusetts. Bixby was thought to have lost her five sons in the Union Army during the American Civil War. The letter has been hailed as one of Lincoln's best written pieces, along with the Gettysburg Speech and his second inauguration address, and it is frequently cited in memorials, the media, and print. The letter's authorship, the recipient, and the fate of the recipient's sons are all controversial. At least two of Bixby's boys survived the war, the letter may have been written by Lincoln's assistant private secretary, and Bixby's character has been questioned (including claims of Confederate sympathies).

In "All Together Now," Jordan states that there were marches and protests against segregation and discrimination in the 1960s
GarryVolchara [31]

The correct answer is option C "It can be proven in an encyclopedia". Marches and protests against segregation and discrimination occurred during the 1960s, and there is evidence written in encyclopedias to proved it. Most of these marches and protests came from movements created in that time, including the civil rights movement, the student movement, the anti-Vietnam War movement, the women's movement and the gay rights movement.

Is it necessary to have lived a certain number of years to be considered mature?
lions [1.4K]

Answer:

Is it necessary to have lived a certain number of years to be considered mature?

Healthy brain, healthy life.

That’s a big question, with many dimensions. I’ll summarise two of these in this post: my other posts will touch on this theme as well.

Walk your own path.

Use your signature strengths to build you pillars – or nurture your roots – to live life with meaning & purpose. This follows four broad steps:

1) adequately understanding yourself

2) having a clear set of well-formed outcomes for the major areas of your life

3) having a plan that works for you so that you live your life in a way that sees you achieving your well-formed outcomes

4) and finally, you adopt the habit of regular reflection to assess

No its not.

Maturity is getting a good understanding of the rules of the game and then being able to decide whether to play by them, adjust them, or create your own completely.

However to understand the game, you have to play. But because of the constraints set by society, our understanding of the game is often limited by insufficient experience. For example, Age and Money. I.e you must be a certain age to marry, work, drive, have kids. You must have a certain amount to money to have access to certain places. This creates the correlation between Age and maturity, and Age, Maturity and money.

In this Information age though, A lack of maturity can be defined as a lack of a vivid imagination and curiosity. Because information is every where.
