Base pairing between the messenger RNA's AUG and activated methionine-tRNA is the first step in eukaryotic protein translation.

What steps are involved in translation in eukaryotes?

In eukaryotes, messenger RNA is translated into proteins by a biological process called eukaryotic translation. Gene translation, elongation, termination, and recapping are its four stages.

To begin translation, an initiator tRNA anticodon looks for a codon on the mRNA. As the giant ribosomal subunit meets the tiny subunit, a second tRNA is recruited. As the mRNA moves in respect to the ribosome, the polypeptide chain is formed.

The three stages of an mRNA molecule's translation by the ribosome are the initiation, elongation, and termination phases.

Answer:

The prokaryotes uses organ called Pilus during conjugation process.

Explanation:

Pilus is a long thread like appendages which seen in the capsules of the bacteria. During conjugation process, the pilus from the donor bacteria extends and gets attached to the recipient bacteria.

The shared pilus acts as the bridge between the donor as well as the recipient bacteria through which the exchange of genetic information occurs. Thus it can be inferred that during conjugation prokaryotes uses pilus.
