What does LIC mean in Spanish slang?

Licenciado just means that the person has a college degree. In English, we don't have an abbreviation that means the same thing. If someone is an engineer, we just say John Doe, an engineer at XYZ company. We don't write Eng. John Doe. Nunca.

The titles that have abbreviations that are used in English (and that come before people's names) are Mr., Miss, Ms, Mrs. and Dr. That's it.

After someone's full name, abbreviations like M.D., Ph.D. and J.D., MBA, CPA, CFA are sometimes used.
