The movement of ideas is important for society because it allows interaction between different cultures.

What is the movement of ideas?

The movement of ideas is a term that refers to the diffusion capacity that an idea has towards a public. In general, ideas can be conveyed through a conversation or interaction of two individuals. However, there are more ways to spread an idea such as:

 • Media
 • Trips to other countries
 • Conversations
 • Forums
 • Among others

What are the barriers to the dissemination of ideas?

Despite having hundreds of outlets, ideas also have limitations that prevent them from spreading to a larger audience. Some of those barriers are:

Censorship: It is when a person is prevented from expressing her ideas freely for going against a political, cultural, religious thought, among others.

Geographical barriers: Geographical barriers prevent the dissemination of ideas because to cross some borders, a document such as a visa or others that allow it to pass is necessary. However, if you do not have the financial means to travel to another country or cross the border, it is not possible to transmit the ideas.

Language barriers: Language is one of the most important barriers because it prevents two people with different languages from sharing their ideas with each other.

How is amplified warming different from natural warming
sladkih [1.3K]
The greenhouse effect is the rise in temperature that the Earth experiences because certain gases in the atmosphere (water vapor, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane, for example) trap energy from the sun. Normal warming is mostly caused by natural gases.
