The process of osmosis can be reversed by altering or changing the pressure gradient is referred to as the true statement and is therefore denoted as option B.

What is Diffusion?

This is defined as the net movement of molecules from a region of higher concentration to that of a lower concentration and doesn't need the presence of a membrane for it to occur.

Osmosis on the other hand requires the presence of a selectively permeable membrane and the process can be reversed by changing the pressure gradient which is therefore why option B was chosen as the most appropriate choice.
