sentence 1 "Allergens in the air aren't the only problem" is leading into sentence 2 "Kids' food allergies have risen too" which means they connect. we now know that the probable topic is food allergies. sentence 3 says "More and more kids are being diagnosed with allergies from perfumes" the thing is we were talking about food allergies, not perfumes. now if sentence 4 is talking about food allergies then we know for sure that the topic is food allergies because that's what all of the sentences will talk about. sentence 4 says "Between 1997 and 2007, the number of kids with food allergies jumped 18 percent." this one talks about food allergies! so we know for sure that all of the sentences talk about food allergies except for... sentence 3 (because it's talking about perfume... not food). hope this helps! :)))
