This is referred to as the the system which comprises of parts such as the brain, spinal cord and other nerves which are responsible for the control and communication process which goes in the body.

This system falls under the peripheral nervous system and are responsible for the control of the involuntary processes which goes in the body system of an individual such as breathing, blood pressure etc.

In this scenario, we were told that Randy’s heart rate slows and then he begins to breathe more steadily which means that the part of his nervous system which is most likely active is autonomic nervous system.
