Senator Thomas Eagleton of Missouri was the man nominated for vice president replaced by Sargent Shriver.

Sargent Shriver was selected by the Democratic National Committee to be the party's vice-presidential nominee in place of Senator Thomas F. Eagleton last night. The committee ratified Mr. Shriver's appointment by Senator George McGovern in an act of cooperation and parent trust. The roll-call vote was almost entirely in favour. Except for Missouri, which threw its 73 votes in favour of Mr. Eagle Ton as a sentimental gesture; Oregon, which cast 4 of its 34 votes in favour of former Senator Wayne Morse; and Guam, which was not represented, every state and territory cast their votes for Mr. Shriver, the only official candidate. Mr. Shriver received 2,936 votes in the final tally.

Which of the following questions would be posed by a pre-Socratic philosopher rather than a follower of the Sophists or later tr
MrMuchimi

Answer:

The questions that would be posed by a pre-Socratic philosopher rather than a follower of the Sophists or later traditions is " Is there an essential truth beyond reality?"

Explanation:

Pre Socratic philosophy mainly dwelt on explanations based on natural occurring rather than believing it to be the work of mythical Gods. They sought to seek rational explanations of the phenomena occurring around them. They sought the truth underlying the universe, external world and the human nature and soul.

The Socratic philosophy unlike the Pre-Socratic philosophers mainly dwelt on expressions and theories on religion, law and politics. They also believed that always exists two sides to an argument out of which either one could be true.
