These factors include an increase in business and the need for workers, a growth in civic engagement in politics, higher levels of education, more people reading newspapers and other media, and simpler access to transportation.

Slavery and the unfair treatment of women in society were two of the ills that reformers sought to eradicate at this time. Some reformers were extremely reasonable in their acts, while others employed impractical methods to make their points.

Some people didn't want to solve a problem completely; instead, they wanted to make some small adjustments that would make the parties involved happier while still having just a tiny effect on their life.

A lot of reformers had similar ideas about what a better world might look like. The majority of reformers favored treating all individuals equally, regardless of their ethnicity or gender.

They worked to ensure that everyone had the same rights as the white men at the time. Additionally, some reformers sought to improve working conditions, which prompted the creation of labor unions as a solution.

The majority of reformers shared the desire for a world with little violence as a common goal. They worked to spread their views and get people to understand that the world would be a better place if there was less violence, which is actually true.

Answer:"When the rising grass is gently stirred by the wind,

And the river is flowing like a glass stream;"

The first blossom opens and the first bird sings,

And the chalice's flimsy fragrance steals—

"I understand the reason the confined bird beats its wing.

till the cruel bars are stained red with its blood;"

"When he breaks free and is no longer bound by his shackles;

It is not a joyful or giddy carol.

Answer:

introduce another character vs. society conflict.

Explanation:

Sylvia Plath born in October 1932, was a short-story writer, poet and novelist of America descent. Most of the works of this Massachusetts –born lady was published when she died of depression in 1963.

In one of her works, the Initiation, she rightly conveyed a story of a young woman who was trying to be in an exclusive club as a way of fitting in with friends or societal expectations. She did not achieve that when she later found how best she could be herself and through conflict, characterization and symbolism, Sylvia path showed the importance of being oneself.

The American short-story writer, in this work, brought in the principal and teachers into the picture as an instance of conflict between society and individual expression.
