In order to raise money and awareness for cancer research, Terry persuaded the Canadian Cancer Society to support his marathon across the country.

The required details for Terrance Stanley Fox in given paragraph

Terrance Stanley Fox CC OD was a Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research advocate who died on June 28, 1981, after passing away on July 28, 1958. In order to raise money and awareness for cancer research, he started an east-to-west cross-Canada run in 1980 while also having had one leg amputated as a result of cancer. Even though his cancer eventually forced him to call it quits after 143 days and 5,373 kilometers (3,339 mi) on his journey, his efforts left a lasting, global legacy.

The annual Terry Fox Run was started in 1981 and has since attracted millions of participants from more than 60 different nations, becoming the largest one-day fundraiser in the world for cancer research. As of September 2022, more than C$850 million had been raised in his honor.

The meter, if any, from the line is ?
A waste of breath the years behind
brilliants [131]
Yes, there is a meter to this line.
Given that there are 8 syllables in this line, that would mean this is a tetrameter. One meter consists of 2 syllables, so if there are 8 syllables in a line, that would mean there are 4 meters, which in literature is called a tetrameter.
Also, when you take into consideration the unstressed and stressed syllables, you see that here the sequence goes: unstressed, stressed, unstressed, stressed, etc. which are qualities of iamb.
So, this line is written in iambic tetrameter.
