The conservation of genes that encode specific morphological characteristics between different species gives an evidence that supports understanding of evolution.

What is conservation of genes and how it supports evolution?

 1. Conservation of genes is the phenomena in which genes are conserved for understanding the process of evolution better.
 2. Gene is the smallest unit of genetic information encoded in a human body.
 3. Each gene encode specific morphological characters between different species.
 4. Different genes encoding different morphological characters are responsible for different functions.

Biopsychologists who study the physiological correlates of psychological processes by recording physiological signals from the s
Butoxors [25]

Biopsychologists who study the physiological correlates of psychological processes by recording physiological signals from the surface of the human body are often referred to as psychophysiologists.

 • 1949; The Organization of Behavior written by D.O. Hebb; played a key role in biopsychology's emergence as a major neuroscientific discipline; provided a formalized outline of how brain physiology could explain behaviors.
 • Neurons are the cells that receive and transmit electrochemical signals.
 • Psychology is the the scientific study of behavior (all overt activities of the organism as well as all the internal processes that are presumed to underlie them).
 • Comparative Psychology is the study of the evolution, genetics, and adaptiveness of behavior, largely through the use of the comparative method

Which of the following is/are required for the polymerization reaction catalyzed by DNA polymerase III?
Temka [501]

Answer:

D. I, IV, VI, and VII

Explanation:

DNA polymerase III has both 5' to 3' polymerization activity and 3' to 5' exonuclease activity (the proofreading). DNA pol III requires divalent magnesium ions for its polymerization and proofreading activities. Here, the magnesium ions serve as cofactor.

DNA polymerase III cannot start the process of synthesis of new DNA strand de novo and uses an RNA primer synthesized by primase enzyme. The polymerization activity of DNA polymerase III elongates the RNA primer in 5' to 3' direction. The primers are removed by 5' to 3' exonuclease activity of DNA polymerase I.

During polymerization, the DNA polymerase III uses existing DNA strand as a template. The four dNTPs namely deoxyadenosine triphosphate (dATP), deoxycytidine triphosphate (dCTP), deoxyguanosine triphosphate (dGTP) and deoxythymidine triphosphate (dTTP) are added to the RNA primer according to the sequence of DNA template.
