God punished the seaman for his Bradford's cruelty by inflicting him with a sickness so serious that he did not recover, as the result of the young seaman’s disrespectful attitude toward passengers who were ill.

What happened to the "proud and exceedingly vul-gar" seaman, in Bradford's words, who cursed and condemned the ill passengers on board? He bowed down and pronounced a "blessing on the God of Heaven."

God took pleasure in inflicting a terrible, "grievous sickness" onto him. They expressed gratitude to God for seeing them safely through the challenging voyage. But Bradford's soon realized that they had no friends and no comfort in this location, which was completely dissimilar to England.

What are the main events of chapter 24 in To Kill a Mockingbird
GREYUIT [131]
One afternoon in August, Aunt Alexandra organizes a tea party for her missionary circle. Scout, dressed in a frock, helps Calpurnia bring in the tea, and Alexandra urges Scout to spend the afternoon with the women. Scout then listens to the missionary circle discuss how their own black servants had behaved badly since Tom Robinson's conviction, when the missionary circle first discussed the plight of the destitute Mrunas, a benighted African tribe being converted to Christianity. Miss Maudie puts an end to their conversation with ice-cold remarks. Atticus, who appears out of nowhere, summons Alexandra to the kitchen. Tom Robinson attempted to run and was shot seventeen times before being arrested, he informs her, Scout, Calpurnia, and Miss Maudie. He takes Calpurnia with him to inform the Robinson family of Tom's death. Miss Maudie responds to Alexandra's question on how the community can allow Atticus to wreck himself in pursuit of justice, "How can the town allow Atticus to demolish himself in pursuit of justice?" Maudie says that the community trusts him to do the right thing. They return to the missionary circle with Scout, ostensibly oblivious to the fact that anything is wrong.

Read this excerpt from The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe
Sati [7]

The statement which best explains what the word choice in this excerpt reveals  about Crusoe is the following: "the phrase 'it was a merry reflection' reveals that Crusoe is happy  and content" (D).

The general tone of the excerpt is positive, almost cheerful. This is indicated by the author's use of phrases like "how like  a king I looked" or "it was remarkable." The fact that Crusoe finds something as neutral as his reflection "merry" also shows that he is optimistic about his current situation.

Karen often finds that task come up unexpectedly during her day and she has trouble figuring out how to rearrange her schedule b
Gnesinka [82]
She should get an overall idea of what she's planning for the day - but of course, don't have it set in stone because of all the unexpected tasks. Karen should leave space in between each thing on her schedule just so she can better prepare.
OR another thing she can do is plan hour by hour just so she doesn't have to keep rearranging her schedule! (:
I hope all is well, and you pass! good luck, rockstar! (:
