The Japanese grudgingly agreed to Perry's demands, and the two sides signed the Treaty of Kanagawa on March 31, 1854. According to the terms of the treaty, Japan would protect stranded seamen and open two ports for refueling and provisioning American ships: Shimoda and Hakodate.

Matthew C. Perry : Perry, on behalf of the U.S. government, forced Japan to enter into trade with the United States and demanded a treaty permitting trade and the opening of Japanese ports to U.S. merchant ships.

In what way is the Holy Land an important site for all three monotheistic faiths?
ololo11 [35]
The holy land is an important site for all three monotheistic faiths because it is mostly where the houses and buildings of worship for their religions are. For example, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which is where Jesus was crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. The Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, a cenotaph, or empty tomb, stands over the place where Abraham is believed to have been buried, or The Green Dome of Al-Masjid al-Nabawi mosque rises above Medina where Muhammad and his followers once took refuge.

People who want to obtain
from financial institutions can use their
rights to do so.
rjkz [21]

Answer:

credit; property.

Explanation:

A financial institution can be defined as corporations that act as an intermediary between capital (debt) markets and the consumers by providing a broad range of business and financial services such as loans, savings, investment, insurance, and other monetary transactions.

Generally, all financial institutions are regulated by the central bank of a country to control the supply of money in the market and protect customers (consumers). Some examples of financial institutions are commercial banks, brokerage firms, credit union, investment banks, asset management firms, etc.

A credit can be defined as an amount of money that is being borrowed from a lender and it is expected to be paid back at an agreed date with interest.

Generally, a financial institution such as a bank giving out credits (sum of money) to eligible customers (borrowers), usually require that they provide a collateral which would be taken over in the event that the borrower defaults (fails) in the repayment of the credit.

Hence, anybody that is interested in obtaining credit from financial institutions can use his or her property rights to do so.

A property right is the exclusive or sole authority which determines the legal ownership of resources and how these resources are to be used, whether by individuals or government.
