This study in which performance was tested based on the restriction of mobiles is a measure of effect size.

In the field of statistics, effect size is used when a statistician needs to check the relationship between two variables.

In the scenario above, the two variables are the usage or non-usage of the cellphone and their effect on the participants.

As the usage and non-usage of mobile phones result in different results scored by the participants, we measure the effect size that these variables have on their test results.

Based on these results, we can conclude whether the usage of cell phones influences an exam or not.

Is marriage out of date? Christian or Muslim views
Alexxx [7]
I'll answer from a Christian view. The quick answer is no. Marriage was meant to be a joining between two people under God. It has nothing to do with partnerships (not just gay relationships like most people think, but if two straight people want to join for life as well). Marriage is a Christian concept not meant for anyone, only those wanting to join together under God. This is not, and will never be, out of date from a Christian view. The way out culture views marriage however is completely different, and that idea of marriage may be out of date.
