Trevor can be called a businessman because of the instances in his life where he turned situations into profitable opportunities in the book "Born A Crime" which included reselling food in high school to reduce the cafeteria lines and disc jockeying for street parties.

It tells a story of Trevor Noah's (Daily show host and stand up comedian) early life in the apartheid time of South Africa. The difficulties of getting by as a "colored" child in a country that did not accept any interactions between two races.

Trevor earned money in his high school years by creating a business that involved reselling and delivering from corner stores during break times. With the same network he sold music CDs and video games. he eventually started working at street parties as a DJ.
