Stanton felt depressed that his brother was dead, and his father was sorrowful, and he wanted to know how to help his dad in his time of need.

So the question asked should be:

Seeing that his father is depressed, how can he help the situation by making both he (for he is sad too) & his father hope for a better future, and cope with the situation?  Hope this helps =)

Answer:

1) discipline should most likely be used to show good and bad. it gives people lines to abide by.

2) jails are hard to keep running, and are super expensive. the people pay for them with the tax the pay. we need to keep community's safe, but we also need to keep kids away from that path.

3) I think that the goal of camp stop would be to "stop" all misbehavior of sorts. it may allow freedom but it is more or less a boot camp. they want kids who have fallen of the right path, to get back on.
