Based on this information we can conclude that in one hour, Oliver and his sister would get all of the windows washed. This means that it would take 5/6 hours which is equal to 50 minutes) for them to get all of the windows washed.

<h3>What is information?</h3>

Information is defined as the content of a message which is passed from a source to its receiver.

The number of hours it takes for Oliver to wash the house windows = 2 hours, so in an hour = 1/2

The number of hours it takes his sister to wash the same house windows = 3 hours, so in an hour = 1/3.

To calculate for one hour for both would be addition of the derived fractions;

= 1/2 + 1/3

= 3+2/6

= 5/6

When converter to minutes, multiple by 60;

= 5/6 × 60

= 300/6

= 50 minutes.

A gumball machine has different flavors sour apple,grape,orange and cherry . There are six of each flavor. $.50 are put in the m
tamaranim1 [39]

Answer:

30/552

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to solve this problem you need to multiply the probability of getting grape for the first gumball with the probability of getting grape for the second gumball. Since there are 6 grape gumballs and a total of 24 gumballs (6*4). Then the probability of getting grape for the firs one is

\frac{6}{24}

Now there are only 5 grape gumballs available and one less in the total supply, therefore the probability of getting grape in the second try is

\frac{5}{23}

Finally we multiply them together to find the probability of getting two grapes in a row.

\frac{6*5}{24*23} = \frac{30}{552}

Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

a-number of advance  tickets

s-number of same day tickets

a*40+s*25=2400

a      +s      =75

I solve  with the substitution method

s=75-a

40a+25*(75-a)=2400

40a+1875-25a=2400

15a=2400-1875

15a=525

a=525/15

a=35

so  s=75-35

s=40
