English

Nuanced thinking refers to the acknowledgement of the grey areas and complexities of the diverse point of views and perceptions of reality.

Nuanced thinking focuses on resisting the conditioned binary thinking which enlists points of views and perceptions of reality into true or false, good or bad, or always or never. Binary thinking reduces complicated and complex issues to two extremes while nuanced thinking considers complex concepts as the continuum or spectrum of diverse points of views and perceptions of reality. Nuanced thinkers are deep and sophisticated thinkers. An example of nuanced thinking could be looking at a painting and understanding the fine-point details about what makes it great.
